Building AI products. Creating more time for life.

I'm Ali Deljavan, an AI Product Builder based in Barcelona. Every product I build starts from a real problem — one I've lived with personally, or watched other people run into again and again.

// ABOUT

Removing unnecessary complexity.

Ali is an AI Product Builder based in Barcelona. Before moving into AI and digital product development, he worked in the travel industry, and later imported and sold trending consumer gadgets through online businesses in Iran. Those years taught him how to read customer behaviour, spot emerging demand, execute on a practical idea, and build the systems around it — skills that turned out to matter as much as any framework or language. What stayed with him wasn't the products themselves so much as the habit behind them: understanding a problem properly, questioning the obvious answer, and testing an idea until it actually holds up. He's also managed personal investments across different areas, though building products, not investing, is the work.

Technology, digital systems, nature, travel, and off-road exploration have been constants for him for a long time. AI became a serious part of that world in late 2024, when he started using it to sharpen product research, e-commerce workflows, and the day-to-day operations of his online businesses. What began as a productivity tool gradually worked its way into how he plans, learns, analyses problems, and builds — it's now part of the process, not a separate step.

CrossFit became a serious part of his life in 2020. It's not a professional pursuit, but training regularly changed how he approaches everything else: showing up consistently, accepting that progress is slow and non-linear, and trusting a long-term process over a quick result. Consistency, discipline, and continuous improvement are the same principles he tries to apply to building products.

He believes technology should remove unnecessary complexity from everyday life — not software for its own sake, but practical tools that give people more time back for health, family, and the things that actually matter. That's the thinking behind FitAI and Money CFO, and it's why he's documenting the process of building them in public rather than only sharing the finished result.

Today he lives in Barcelona with his wife and their dog, Viki, and spends most of his time building practical web applications designed to simplify everyday life.

He doesn't expect every idea to work out. But he believes a real problem deserves an honest attempt at solving it — built carefully, tested honestly, and improved for as long as it takes to get right.

How I Build

Solve real problems. If I wouldn't use it myself, I probably shouldn't build it.

Question assumptions. Good products begin with curiosity, not certainty.

Keep improving. Every version should be better than the last.

Choose simplicity. Technology should remove complexity, not create more of it.

Build in public. Sharing the journey is part of building better products.

The journey so far

Not a résumé — the moments that actually shaped how Ali builds.

2020

CrossFit becomes a serious part of life

Training taught discipline, resilience, consistency, and long-term thinking. Those principles later became the foundation of how Ali builds products.

Late 2024

AI enters the workflow

Ali began using AI seriously while researching products, managing e-commerce workflows, and improving online business operations. What started as a productivity tool gradually changed how he planned, learned, analysed problems, and built solutions.

2025–2026

Money CFO

Money CFO started from a personal challenge. Ali had always tracked income and expenses manually — but after moving countries, managing multiple currencies and different income sources became increasingly difficult. Instead of accepting the problem, he decided to build the solution he wanted to use himself. Status: in development.

2026

FitAI

FitAI was inspired by something Ali repeatedly observed inside the gym: people training without structure, performing exercises incorrectly, and getting discouraged because they never understood why they weren't progressing. FitAI exists to make structured training more accessible — not just generating workouts, but helping people train with confidence, consistency, and understanding. Status: in development. It does not offer medical validation and is not a replacement for certified coaching.

2026

Barcelona

Moving to Barcelona became an opportunity to focus on building products around real-life problems. Ali's current work is developing practical AI-powered web applications while documenting the journey publicly.

Projects

Two practical products in development — each one built to remove a specific everyday complexity.

● IN DEVELOPMENT

Money CFO

Money CFO is being built to make personal finances across accounts, income sources, and currencies easier to understand. It started from a problem Ali ran into himself after moving countries.

// TRAINING

CrossFit: the other discipline.

CrossFit became a serious part of Ali's life in 2020. It's not a professional pursuit — but showing up consistently, over years, changes how you think about everything else.

Training is where the idea of long-term progress over quick results really sank in: some weeks nothing seems to move, and then it does.

The same principles that hold up in the gym — consistency, discipline, and continuous improvement — are the ones Ali tries to apply to building products.

Consistency

Showing up matters more than motivation.

Discipline

Progress comes from repetition, not intensity.

Long-term thinking

Meaningful progress is rarely linear.

Continuous improvement

Small improvements compound over time.
